Finished his career ranked No. 9 on the school’s all-time indoor performance list in the 5,000 meters with an indoor personal-best time of 14:41.29 ... Wrapped up his LSU career with an outstanding season in 2008 ... Earned a letter during the indoor season after competing in the 5,000 meters at the SEC Indoor Championships ... Placed 13th in the event at the conference meet with a time of 15:12.26 ... Clocked a seasonal-best time of 15:06.41 in the 5,000 meters at the Razorback Invitational ... Also ran the 5,000 meters at the Purple Tiger Classic (15:19.52) and New Balance Collegiate Invitational (15:23.11) during the indoor season ... Ran the 3k at the Purple Tiger Classic (8:42.77) and Lobo Invitational (8:55.26) ... Clocked a seasonal-best time in the 5,000 meters at the Tyson Invitational (14:44.38) ... Also lined up in the event at the prestigious New Balance Collegiate Invitational, finishing in 15:20.62 ... Did not finish the 5k at the SEC Indoor Championships ... Concentrated on the 5k and 10k during the outdoor season ... Clocked a new outdoor personal-best time in the 5,000 meters at the LSU Tiger Classic, stopping the clock in 15:01.44 ... Shaved nearly 20 seconds off his PR in the 3,000 meters, clocking 8:33.00 at the UNM Lobo Invitational ... Won the Purple Tiger Invitational in 8:37.01 ... Top mile time was a 4:18.13 effort at the LSU Twilight ... Did not compete during the outdoor season.

2005
Posted a new personal record in the 5,000 meters during the outdoor season, clocking 14:46.36 at the LSU Alumni Gold ... Ran 15:08.00 at the SEC Championships and 15:11.20 at the Sun Angel Classic ... Did not compete for the Tigers during the indoor campaign.

2004
Turned in his top 3,000-meter time of the season at the LSU Twilight, clocking 8:51.92 ... Recorded a time of 9:03.96 at the Bayou Bengal Invitational ... Ran the 5,000 meters during the outdoor season ... Posted a seasonal best of 15:33.16 at the LSU Alumni Gold ... Clocked 15:46.48 at the SEC Championships.

Lettered in cross country and track at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans ... Named his team's track MVP in 2001 ... Helped his team to Louisiana cross country state titles in 1999 and 2002 ... A member of the Honor Roll ... Named an Outstanding Graduate of the Class of 2003.

Girls Varsity Fields Full Team for First Time at Aubrae Gunderson

For the first time this season, the Clarke Central High School girls varsity cross country team fielded a full team of ten runners at the 2009 Aubrae Gunderson Invite at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, Georgia on September 26, 2009.

Senior Claire Rosemond finished in 22nd place and took team medalist honors with a time of 22:02.48 over the 5K course, and freshman Samantha Eberhard (pictured left) took the second team position (85th in the field) with a time of 24:46.63.

Like the boys varsity team, the six of the Lady Gladiator harriers finished in a virtual pack, taking 117th through 122nd place.

Four Personal Records for Varsity Boys at Aubrae Gunderson

The Clarke Central High School varsity boys cross-country team competed in the 2009 Aubrae Gunderson Invite at the Georgia International Horse Park on Saturday, September 26, 2009.

Although the team did not place as well as they would have liked in the Boys White Division Race (13th), four members of the team set personal records during the race: Mario Johnson, Daniel Desimone, Carver Goodhue (pictured left), and Richard Golden.

An interesting finish did happen as a team though. Seven of the Gladiator harriers took finish positions between 101 and 109, with a time difference of only 14.02 seconds separating 101st and 109th place.
